US Policeman Kills and Pins Down Black Man, Then Bragging About Bar Fights

New Delhi: A US police officer said, “I always wanted to be in a bar fight,” after the pinning of a black guy to the ground and the official’s squatting around his neck. Later, the guy passed away at a hospital.
Following the revelation of body camera video that seemed to show cops putting a black man to the ground in a bar—a scene eerily similar to the circumstances that resulted in George Floyd’s murder in 2020—Ohio Police have been under severe criticism.

The Canton Police Department released a video that showed the events leading up to Frank Tyson’s death. Frank, 53, is accused of fleeing the scene of an April 18 single-car collision.

In the video, Tyson is confronted by police inside a pub, and a fight soon breaks out. Tyson begged for assistance and cried out, “I can’t breathe,” but the cops just took him to the ground and handcuffed him. One of them even put pressure on his back near his neck and said, “You’re fine.”

Lying on the ground, Tyson keeps pleading for help. Officers start doing CPR after seeing his lack of response for a few minutes. When paramedics get there, they take Tyson to a nearby hospital, where he passes away.

One police officer is heard boasting in the body cam video that he has always wanted to get into a “bar fight” with one of the customers.

There are unsettling similarities between the events leading up to Tyson’s murder and George Floyd’s deadly run-in with Minneapolis police in 2020, which caused outcry on a worldwide scale.

Beau Schoenegge and Camden Burch, the officers in Tyson’s case, have been put on administrative leave while the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation conducts its investigation.
