When Donald Trump and Vivek Ramaswamy arrive to Mar-A-Lago, the internet can’t handle it

While a significant segment of the American populace is fixated on the upcoming Super Bowl weekend, former US President Donald Trump has other ideas. Due to the coronavirus shutdown in 2020, the Trumpettes’ first Mar-A-Lago gala for Trump was held on this golden-themed evening.

Indeed, Trump has had a turbulent month. His campaign for the 2024 presidential election has seen a range of highs and lows. Trump has had quite the “wild” ride, from his GOP domination to his victories in the primaries in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada, and even a US Supreme Court session where his eligibility for the 2018 presidential elections was under scrutiny because of his boisterous contributions to the Capitol uprising on January 6.

But for the time being, it seems that his fan base is doing all within its ability to support him. Former First Lady Melania Trump also attended the “mega MAGA” (Make America Great Again) celebration at Mar-A-Lago. She was hailed as the “epitome of grace and elegance” by several X and Instagram users when she announced her support for the Trumpettes fan club event. Her participation was exceptional since she hasn’t been supporting Trump at many other campaign events recently.

There were others with her at his side. Additionally checking in his presence was Vivek Ramaswamy, the former presidential candidate of the United States for 2024 who has now come out in favor of Trump.

Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis and Governor Ron DeSantis went with Donald Trump and the first lady in 2020. The former governor is now the former president’s opponent in the forthcoming Republican presidential primary, meaning that the roles have been reversed. But now that the Trump family has surrounded Vivek Ramaswamy and his wife Apoorva T Ramaswamy, the internet is in disarray.

Reactions on social media to Vivek Ramaswamy and Donald Trump attending the Mar-A-Lago gala together
The “Golden Evening for a Golden President” was covered by well-known social media personality Jessica Reed Kraus on her Instagram stories. Kraus and Kraus have had their share of backstabbing. According to her accounts, Trump was seen extending a warm welcome and calling Ramaswamy to the platform. “Feels a little VPish to me,” was her caption.

Not only her participate in the conjectures. X (previously Twitter) was overtaken with tweets such as “VP energy?”, “VIVEK for VP,” and “I like Vivek being on the Trump team.”

Another X user remarked, asking whether Vivek would serve as vice president. Never in my life have I been more anxious to find out who the vice president is picked. It stinks to wait. As someone else added, “I hope Trump picks Vivek for VP.”

The statement “Vivek is seriously moving up in the world” stunned the internet. Many shared the attitude and regarded it as Trump’s way to victory in the elections, while others thought Ramaswamy’s support would be mutually beneficial.

Nothing is certain, but this event has left a lot of room for possible future events. Will Ramaswamy and Trump end up being a tight team after all? The internet is tenaciously awaiting the next development.
