“It’s Time To Be Ready For War,” declares North Korea, while Kim Jong Un demands immediate readiness

Kim Jong Un, the leader of North Korea, stressed the need to be ready for battle in the face of unpredictable geopolitical circumstances around his nation. During his most recent visit to the Kim Jong Il University of Military and Politics, he said this:.

At the university named after his late father, which is regarded as the best military education facility in the nation, Kim provided field advice on Wednesday. Kim’s visit takes place at a time when North Korea is forging closer relations with Russia and stepping up efforts to improve its armaments. According to reports, North Korea provided military backing to Russia in return for the latter’s confrontation with Ukraine.

Kim told the university staff and students, “Affirming that if the enemy chooses to engage in military confrontation with the DPRK, the DPRK will deal a death blow to the enemy without hesitation by mobilizing all means in its possession,” according to KCNA. The official name of the North is the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, or DPRK for short.

“He said that now is the time to be more thoroughly prepared for a war than ever before, outlining the complicated international situation… and the uncertain and unstable military and political situation around the DPRK,” KCNA said, citing Reuters.

Kim managed the successful test flight of a brand-new hypersonic intermediate-range ballistic missile earlier this month. This innovation is considered more efficient than liquid-fuel alternatives since it runs on solid fuel. The action is anticipated to greatly improve North Korea’s missile deployment capability.

Additionally, North Korea has said that the US and South Korea have escalated military tensions by engaging in forceful drills known as “war maneuvers.” These exercises have increased in size and intensity in recent months.
