Who Was Brandon Raspberry? Texas Boy, 10, Acknowledges Killing Man in 2022

A 10-year-old child claimed to have slain Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry during interrogation for a separate inquiry, over two years after the man’s body was discovered dead at an RV park near Nixon, Texas.

Reports state that officers from the Gonzalez County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint about an unresponsive guy at 85 Wild Meadow, Nixon. The guy was 37 years old at the time of his death, and his case remains unresolved. Then, on April 12, after he was accused of beating a youngster on a bus, the 10-year-old suspect was being questioned by the school administration.

The youngster admitted to shooting and killing a guy two years before, when he was seven years old, throughout the course of the inquiry. The Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office launched an inquiry into the matter after the confession.

When Gonzales County Sheriff’s Office investigators questioned the youngster later, he “described in detail” how he murdered Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry. According to the investigators, Rasberry and his grandpa were residents of the same RV park at the time of Rasberry’s death.

Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry: who was he?
Just four days before to his death, Brandon O’Quinn Rasberry, according to the Sheriff’s office, had moved into the RV Park in Nixon, Gonzales County. The last three months of his life were spent working at Holmes Food Nixon. According to the detectives, he moved to Nixon and then leased the RV.

“Learning that the murder was committed by a 7-year-old, and that it was a senseless murder at that, is just tragic.” It’s a little difficult to comprehend,” Rasberry’s brother Jonathan Fojtik said. “Brandon was a kind individual. He will offer everyone his clothes off.”

The weapon was retrieved by the Sheriff’s office after the confession, and they claim it was purchased from a Seguin pawn shop. They were able to verify that Rasberry was shot with the gun. The youngster has been brought to the San Antonio mental hospital for assessment, according to the deputies. Prior to it, he was being held in Gonzales County due to the bus incident.
