A lad from Jalandhar scores 25th in JEE Main

Jalandhar native Rachit Aggarwal placed 25th overall in India for JEE (main), 2024. Rachit is a voracious reader and a devoted Harry Potter enthusiast who hopes to attend an IIT to study computer engineering.

“For me, it’s an overpowering sensation. It hasn’t yet registered yet. Upon the release of the findings, I was asleep. I found out in the morning from my folks,” he said. He also enjoys playing the guitar.

Sanskriti KMV School student Rachit has been receiving coaching from Aakash Institute and has conveyed his appreciation to the institute’s mentors.

“Jinka rank below 100 aata hai, vo koi aur hi tarah ke praani hote honge,” Rachit said he had always believed. (All those who rank below 100 are separate human beings). I am now one of them. It’s amazing that I placed 25th, and I’m thankful for it,” he said. Additionally, he said that while he wasn’t particularly interested in studying until Class X, he had learned the value of hard effort during the last two years.
