Today, February 8, is the first day that the Andhra Pradesh Department of School Education is accepting applications from the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 (AP TET). Through aptet.apcfss.in, the official website, candidates may submit their applications for the available positions.

The announcement states that applications will be accepted from February 8 through February 18. As a result, applicants are encouraged to register before the deadline. According to the statement, the tests are scheduled to take place from February 27 to March 9, with the results anticipated on March 14.

AP TET 2024: CRITERIA FOR Eligibility
Candidates wishing to apply for Paper 1(A) must meet the requirements listed below, per the announcement. It consists of:

Applicants must have received at least 45% of their class 12 or equivalent in grades.

–– Applicants who successfully completed a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education program, a two-year diploma in elementary education, or both.

Applicants must possess a two-year elementary education diploma, a four-year elementary education bachelor’s degree, or a two-year diploma in education. They must also have received at least 50% of their points in Class 12.

— A two-year elementary education diploma and graduation.

– A Bachelor of Education and at least 50% of the possible points upon graduation.

After graduation, a minimum of 55% of marks, or an equivalent grade, and a three-year integrated BEd/MEd program are required.

Additionally, a Bachelor of Oriental Language degree, or its equivalent, in the relevant language or topic, is required of those appearing for Paper 2(A). Applicants who have a bachelor’s degree in literature or a post-graduate degree in the relevant language are also eligible to apply.

Application Fees for AP TET 2024
Candidates would need to pay a registration fee of Rs 750 for each exam in order to register for the AP TET 2024. Nevertheless, after the application has been submitted, applicants will not be permitted to update or change it.
