Application Process for UPSC CSE 2024 Prelims Exam to End Today; 1056 Spots Available

Today, March 5, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conclude registration for the Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2024 preliminary test. Interested candidates may apply for the test by visiting upsc.gov.in, the official website. Applicants may apply for the test if they have successfully completed their graduation from an accredited institution or possess an equivalent certification.

On May 26, there will be a UPSC preliminary test. Those who pass the preliminary test will then need to show up for the main exam, which is set for October 19. The UPSC CSE 2024 recruitment campaign will fill 1056 positions in total.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE UPSC CSE 2024 PRELIMS EXAM?
Step 1: Go to upsc.gov.in, the official UPSC website.

Step 2: Search the webpage for the UPSC CSE 2024 notice link.

Step 3: Press the hyperlink. The notice for the preliminary test will appear as a PDF file on the screen. You’ll find the application page on another page.

Step 4: Complete the form and register yourself.

Step 5: Pay the application costs and upload the necessary files.

Step 6: Save and download the page so you can access it later.

UPSC CSE 2024: FEE DEPOSIT
Candidates would need to submit an application fee of Rs 100 in order to apply for the test. Candidates who identify as women, SC, ST, or who have a benchmark disability are not required to pay fees. The payment may be done in cash at any State Bank of India branch, via any bank’s Net Banking service, or with a credit card, debit card, Visa, Master, RuPay, or UPI payment.

According to the official notification, candidates who made it through the preliminary round will need to appear for the Civil Services (Main) Examination. To do this, they must reapply online and submit the Detailed Application Form-I, along with scanned copies of their certificates and documents attesting to their date of birth, category, and level of education, as well as the necessary examination fee.
