Fans are curious about Kriti Sanon, Ranveer Singh, and Manish Malhotra’s intentions after their recent visit to Varanasi. No, their purpose for being in the city was to exhibit the beauty of Indian handicrafts, not to go sightseeing.

Manish Malhotra argued for rich Indian history in the ancient Namo ghat, which was built by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He did this by having his models and muses walk his “Banaras” collection with the ultimate elegance and style.

The two celebrities, Kriti Sanon and Ranveer Singh, looked stunning as they walked the runway along the Holy Ganga in Kashi. They were dressed in traditional Banarasi prints. See some clips from the historic fashion display held in Varanasi, the holy city.

Kriti Sanon wore Manish Malhotra’s majestic red Banarasi silk lehenga, while Ranveer Singh wore a deep purple Banarasi Shikargah sherwani. These two exquisite ensembles embodied the ancient expertise of the Varanasi Bunkar Committee.

“This historic fashion show propelled the spirit of ‘Vocal for Local’ and ‘Local for Global,'” according to Manish Malhotra. A true tribute to India’s illustrious textile history.” The designer also disclosed that the ‘Banaras’ collection honored the narrative of the craftspeople in collaboration with the Indian Minorities Foundation and the Bunkar artisans.
