B.Sc. Maths exam isn’t in the curriculum, according to students in Nurpur

Students enrolled in the sixth semester of the Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) program for mathematics under the 2016 batch claimed to have received an out-of-syllabus question paper on Thursday. They regretted missing out on a fantastic opportunity to recur in the paper “Complex Analysis” (Code 602), for which they had paid the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), Shimla, an examination fee of Rs 5,000.

Suraj Singh, Shiv Kumar, and Ajay Kumar bemoaned the M.Sc. level question paper after traveling long distances to take the test at Government Arya Degree College, Nurpur.

They said that after a two-hour period of inactivity, every examinee gave the test supervisor their blank answer sheets. Examinees sent a memorandum to HPU via the Principal of Government College, requesting that the paper be canceled and retaken at no cost to them, or that they be declared passing with honors.

The exam paper, according to Government Arya College, Nurpur principal Anil Thakur, was post-graduation in level.

He continued by saying that he had sent the students’ note to the HPU Controller of Examinations.
