Campus interviews at ITI-Nurpur on April 24

On April 24, two private businesses, Dolphin Rubbers Ltd. from Ludhiana, Punjab, and L&T from Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, will interview candidates at the government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Nurpur, with the aim of hiring industrial workers.

Dolphin Rubbers, according to Principal Sanjeev Sahotra, would hire workers for its tire manufacturing facility and offer them a monthly compensation package of Rs 14,500 for the first six months, then Rs 16,000, free housing, health insurance, a provident fund, and discounted canteen services.

For its factories throughout India, L&T, on the other hand, would choose trainees (between the ages of 18 and 30) who have successfully completed ITI skills in electrician, wireman, plumber, welder, carpenter, and fitter. In addition to providing two months of specialized training, the firm would pay between Rs 16,500 and Rs 18,500 per month in compensation, he added.

To participate in the interviews, candidates were required by the principal to bring three passport-sized photos, their original and duplicate diplomas, and evidence of a valid ID.
