Exams for CLAT 2025: In the first week of December 2024, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will administer the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025. Careers360 states that CLAT 2025 will happen during the first week of December. The application form will open in the first or second week of July. On the official website of the consortium, the whole schedule, together with a comprehensive CLAT 2025 announcement, will soon be accessible.

Candidates wishing to be admitted to their five-year LLB and LLM programs take the CLAT test each year, which is administered by 24 participating national law universities. The entrance test is required for admission to the top law schools in the country, such as NLSIU Bangalore, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata, and NLU Jodhpur.

Details of the CLAT 2025 test
Pens and paper are used for the offline administration of the CLAT. There are about 130 locations throughout the country where the exam is given. There are 120 questions in the test in total. The CLAT curriculum covers a variety of subjects, including the English language, current events, general knowledge, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and quantitative methods. The CLAT PG curriculum covers a variety of topics, including administrative law, tort law, corporate law, tax law, international law, and jurisprudence.

CLAT 2025 Eligibility: Candidates must have obtained at least 45% of the available points in their class 12 exam to be eligible for CLAT UG, and at least 50% of the possible points in their LLB degree to be eligible for CLAT PG.

Candidates will get a 5% relaxation in the minimum qualifying exam score requirement if they identify as SC, ST, or PwD.

There is no maximum age to take the CLAT 2025 test.
