Goa Board HSSC 12th Results 2024: 85% of Students Are Selected

The results of the class 12 or HSSC test for 2024 have been released by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE). Students who took the test may see their results at results.gsbshsegoa.net and gbshse.in, the official websites. The Goa High School Certificate 2024 exams were held from February 28 to March 18. At a press conference held by the Board on April 21 at the Conference Hall, Ground Floor, Directorate of Education, Porvorim Goa, the results for the Arts, Commerce, Science, and Vocational courses were revealed at 3:30 p.m.

A total of 85%, or 14884, of the 17511 students who took the test qualified, according to the official notification. Of the pupils, 4156 belonged to the arts stream, 5194 to commerce, 5736 to science, and 2425 to vocational. For males, the pass rate is 81.59%, while for girls, it is 88.06%. In contrast, 2725 students were assigned to the improvement exam group.

With a pass rate of 90.90%, Bardez is the district with the highest performance, followed by Salcette (88.09%) and Sanguem (89.73%). With a pass rate of 63.44%, Dharbandora is the district that performs the worst.

Twenty centers were used to administer the test. On April 23, at 4:30 PM, the consolidated result sheet will be downloaded via sevice1.gsbshse.in.

The final pass rate for the year 2023 was 95.46%. The total pass rate for the Goa board HSSC test in 2022 was 92.66%. It was 89.59% in 2019, 89.27% in 2020, and 99.40% in 2021. Last year, females did better than boys, with 95.33% of boys and 95.68% of girls passing the test.
