Introducing Sarjana Yadav, an IAS officer who passed the UPSC test without any coaching

In order to prepare for the UPSC test, a growing number of coaching facilities have arisen throughout the years. Coaching is crucial for those hoping to pass the IAS, IPS, and IFS recruitment examinations. Even yet, not every candidate who enrolls in coaching succeeds on the test. IAS Sarjana Yadav is one such candidate.

Delhi is Sarjana Yadav’s hometown. She graduated from Delhi Technological University (DTU) with a BTech. Sarjana Yadav started working at TRAI as a research officer after receiving her degree. Sarjana was motivated to pass the UPSC test and become an IAS officer despite her employment.

Sarjana, an IAS official, began getting ready beside her office. Many candidates study for the test for up to 16–18 hours in order to master the extensive UPSC curriculum. When Sarjana took the UPSC civil services test for the first time in 2017, she was unsuccessful.

She carried on with her preparations despite it not breaking her spirit. In 2018, she took the test a second time, however this time she did not pass. In 2018, Sarjana made the decision to resign from her work and focus solely on her preparation. On her third try, she eventually passed the UPSC test in 2019—and she did it without any coaching. Her All-Indian Rank (AIR) was 126.
