Ludhiana district’s Aditi and Alisha take first place in the PSEB Class X exams

Today in Mohali, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) released the results of its Class X exams. Ludhiana daughters Aditi and Alisha Sharma have taken up two of the top spots in the state. Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School in Shimlapuri is the school that both of them attend.

The PSEB has released the list of 316 students who had a grade point average of more than 96%. 59 of the 316 pupils are from the district of Ludhiana. While it is commendable that these Ludhiana students reached the merit list, there are fewer students on it this year than there were the year before.

In addition, the pass rate of the largest district in the state with the highest student population, Ludhiana district, has decreased to 95.27%, placing the district in 22nd place overall, below the majority of districts. The highest proportion of students that pass is 99.24% in Amritsar.

Eleven Ludhiana pupils are in the top ten on the merit list.

Even though Ludhiana’s ranking may have dropped to 22nd, 11 Ludhiana students—aside from those from other districts—are among the top 10 finalists on the merit list. Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School, Shimlapuri; BCM Senior Secondary School, Jamalpur; Bharti Bal Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School; Dashmesh Model Senior Secondary School, Doraha; and Government Girls School, Sahnewal are among the schools whose pupils secured the top ten spots.

Girls repeat the action.

Similar to past years, female students performed better than male students in Class X results this year, and they dominated the top spots. “Girls perform better, consistently, than boys because they are more serious, committed, and disciplined than boys,” said the principal of a government school.

low rate of success

In the Ludhiana district, 38,387 students appeared this year; 36,573 of them passed, making the total pass rate 95.27 percent. In comparison, the pass percentage was 95.44 percent last year and 99.06 percent in 2022.

festivities in the classroom

Shouts of happiness erupted from the Teja Singh Sutantar Memorial Senior Secondary School as students celebrated their accomplishments by dancing to the rhythms of the dhol. On this special occasion, they were seen hugging their parents, instructors, and classmates.

The two best scorers, Aditi and Alisha Sharma, who both want to be physicians, said that their high scores were the result of their hard work and the professors’ genuine attempts. Danish Grewal, the school’s director, expressed pride in the fact that the institute’s pupils had won awards.
