Maharashtra NMMS Result 2024 Announced: Visit the MSCE website at nmmsmsce.in to see the Merit List

The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, has released the results for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) Exam (2023-24), targeting economically disadvantaged students. These results are now accessible on MSCE’s official websites – www.mscepune.in and https://nmmsmsce.in/. Conducted for 8th-grade students, the exam took place on December 24, 2023.

Candidates are encouraged to visit the portals and use their login credentials to access the Maharashtra NMMS result 2024, presented in the form of a merit list PDF. Alongside the results, the Council has provided the NMMS merit list 2024 for Maharashtra, offering a comprehensive view of successful candidates.

To ensure transparency and assist candidates in reviewing their performance and securing scholarships under this vital scheme, the Council has released both the NMMS results and the merit list. Candidates are advised to verify their results by comparing their seat numbers with those listed in the merit list PDF on the official MSCE Pune website.

In addition to the release of results and the merit list, the Council has allowed candidates to raise objections if they identify any discrepancies. The option to submit objections is accessible through the respective school login portals and will remain open until February 16, 2024.

Candidates have the opportunity to rectify any discrepancies in their personal details through online applications available on their respective school logins until February 16, 2024. Only online applications submitted within the stipulated timeframe will be considered valid; amendments sent through other means or after the deadline will not be entertained by the Council.

Following a comprehensive review and incorporation of all amendments, the final shortlist for the scholarship will be promptly announced on the Council’s website. However, once the scholarship shortlist is announced, no further changes will be made.

The examination papers are not graded, as students were provided with carbonless answer sheets. To pass the examination, candidates must achieve an aggregate of 40% marks in both subjects. However, for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Disability students, the aggregate requirement is lowered to 32% in both subjects.

Due to the cancellation of two questions in the MAT subject, the total score is based on 88 questions for MAT and 90 questions for SAT, out of a total of 178.

Lastly, it is noteworthy that results for students with completely changed first names, father’s names, and surnames are being reserved by the Council for further review and processing.

Students are strongly advised to carefully review all information provided on their NMMS result 2024 Maharashtra mark sheet, paying particular attention to details such as name, date of birth, seat number, standard, marks, examination centre, and any other relevant information. Any identified discrepancies in the NMMS merit list 2024 Maharashtra should be promptly reported to the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) for resolution.
