NGO vows to continue working for community development as it celebrates its anniversary

At the city’s Punjab Natshala, Punjabi Samvad, a neighborhood non-profit organization focused on social welfare, celebrated its 15th anniversary. The occasion emphasized the NGO’s steadfast dedication to supporting women’s empowerment and child education. Dignitaries from a range of social backgrounds attended the anniversary event, which highlighted Punjabi Samvad’s efforts for community development during the previous fifteen years.

The event’s main guest was MLA Vijay Pratap Singh of North Kunwar. Among the honored guests were business strategists Gireesh Damodaran, Ashok Talwar, Mandeep Singh Ahuja, and Harpreet Arora. The event was presented by Raghav Seth and Samvad Jyoti Bawa, the President of Punjabi. The “Inspirational Icon Award 2024” presentation to eight outstanding women who have shown outstanding accomplishments in their different disciplines was a highlight of the occasion. Acknowledged for their exceptional contributions to society, these women are role models for the broader community.

Dr. Mohinder Sangeeta, Simrat Gagan, Ritu Vasudev, Srishti Anand, Tanisha Krishan Khanna, Ramadeep Walia, Dr. Harpreet Kaur, and Mehak Kapoor were among the recipients of the awards. The president of Punjabi Samvad, Jyoti Bawa, has sent her appreciation to all of the volunteers, donors, and supporters who have contributed to the organization’s efforts to bring about constructive social change. He emphasized the significance of group activities in building a society that is more inclusive and equal. In addition to commemorating a noteworthy achievement for Punjabi Samvad, the anniversary festivities underlined the organization’s resolve to carry on helping the community.
