Officers from the cantonment board ranked 55 and 69

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the results of the Civil Services Examination, 2023, and two Chief Executive Officers working in the Cantonment Boards of the Solan district passed.

Yogesh Dilhor, the chief executive of the Subathu Cantonment Board, came in at number fifty-five, while Priya Rani, who is in charge of the chief executive positions at the Kasauli and Dagshai Cantonment Boards, came in at number sixty-nine.

Their secret to success is a combination of intense test preparation and hard work.

Yogesh Dilhor gave insights into his path to the Civil Services test, which includes strategic planning and tenacity. Yogesh, whose family is from Panchkula, although he was born in Sonepat, began his UPSC career five years ago.

He temporarily enrolled in a coaching program before realizing the value of NCERT books over pricy study guides. Using his professional background and concentrating on independent research, together with astute time management and a persistent mindset, yielded significant benefits.

Priya Rani, 28, tells her story of overcoming adversity and receiving family support to pass the very difficult test.

Priya, a native of Phulwari Sharif in Patna, gained support for her dreams from her grandpa, who was a fervent supporter of women’s education. Despite having few resources, Priya maintained a strict study schedule based on NCERT books, which helped her achieve an outstanding result of 69th in the highly competitive test. Her success story demonstrates the transforming power of persistent will and supportive family members in overcoming obstacles in the pursuit of achievement.
