PSEB class X examinations: 150 Mohali schools assert a perfect score

In the Punjab School Education Board Class 10 results, the top three students in the district were Saloni (97.54%) of Government Senior Secondary School, Singhpura, Kurali; Annu Kumari (96.77%) of Government High School, Desu Majra; and Hansika Mehra (96.46%) of Government Girls Senior Secondary, Sohana.

With a score of 634/650, Saloni became the district’s top Class X topper. On the state’s provisional merit list, she came in at number twelve. With a score of 629/650, Annu Kumari secured the second spot in the district. Hansika Mehra earned 627/650 to take third place, and she is ranked 17th on the merit list.

Fifty-five of the district’s 220 schools reported a 100% grade. Saloni, the district topper and daughter of GMCH-32 security guard Kamaldeep Kumar, said that her goal is to become a doctor. Annu Kumari, a native of Jandpur, said that she wishes to be ready for the civil service test. The daughter of electrician Sanjeev Kumar, Hansika Mehra, said that she aspires to become a data scientist.

Possibility of enhancement

Just 7 out of the 23 students of Government High School, Daffarpur, passed the Class 10 test, yielding a mere 30.43 percent score. At Sehajjot Public School in Dhanas, just four students out of ten passed the test, yielding a 40% score. Six out of the twelve students from Dashmesh Public Senior Secondary School in Mundi Kharar passed the test, yielding a 50% passing grade. — TNS

Four girls from the area have reached the merit list, according to the Punjab School Education Board’s announcement of the Class 10 results.

With 97.69 percent, Arshdeep Kaur of Guru Nanak Public Senior Secondary School in Khant Manpur took first place in the district and the 11th rank in Punjab. With 97.23 percent of the possible points, Sukhmanpreet Kaur of Guru Amardas Public Senior Secondary School placed 14th in the state and 2nd in the district; Simranjeet Kaur of GTB Public Senior Secondary School and Simran Kaur of Baba Biram Dass DAV Public Senior Secondary School tied for third place in the district and 15th place in Punjab.
