Results are announced

Ludhiana: By placing first and third in the PU examinations for the first and third semesters, the MA History students of Khalsa institution for Women, Civil Lines, brought honors to the institution. With 349 out of 400 points, Neha Kaushik was the top student at the institution, while Manpreet Kaur came in sixth with 328. The principal, Dr. Iqbal Kaur, praised the Department of History’s work, thanked the students, and urged them to keep up their academic pace going forward.

Girls College in Ramgarhia

Ramgarhia Girls College second-year students hosted an entertaining and crowded goodbye celebration for the graduating class. Cultural acts enhanced the celebration, showing students’ musical and dancing prowess. The final-year students lit up the stage with their vibrant attire and ramp walk during the Miss Farewell competition. Miss Farewell was crowned Tamanpreet Kaur (BA).

Girls’ Government College

The third-year students were bid goodbye by the PG Department of Commerce, BCom, and BBA Department of Government College for Girls. For the graduating class, the second-year students planned a goodbye party. The crowd was captivated by a range of traditional performances, including bhangra, dancing, and Ram Stuti. Miss Farewell was crowned Sukhpreet. First runner-up Khushnaaz and second runner-up Bimmi were announced.

Malwa Central Women’s College

Panjab University Zonal Skill in Teaching and On-the-Spot Teaching Aid Preparation contests were attended by students from Malwa Central College of Education for Women at GHG Harparkash College of Education. Shreya Jain won first place in the Skill in Teaching competition for her work in home science pedagogy. Ashima Goyal in computer science education, Priyanka in mathematics education, and Deeksha in science education shared second place. Gurjot Kaur won second place in the On-the-Spot Teaching Aid Preparation competition for her home science pedagogy.

University of Connecticut

A workshop was conducted by CT University with the objective of improving faculty and student comprehension and adoption of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). The MOOC Cell deputy director, Dr. Kamal Malik, gave the opening speech at the occasion. In his speech, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Manbir Singh emphasized the university’s dedication to innovation and lifelong learning even further.
