Schools will begin their summer break today

The State Department of Education has declared April 24– June 11 as the school year’s summer vacation. Officials announced during a meeting on Tuesday that there would be 49 vacations for all schools, with classes starting again on June 11.

In the meantime, work is being done to upgrade the facilities and other aspects of the school system. This work is expected to cost over Rs 1,100 crore and will be completed during the summer break. Prior to the schools’ reopening on June 5, the work is anticipated to be finished by then.

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education has previously announced that junior colleges would have a summer break from March 31 to May 31. On June 1, the junior colleges will reopen.
