TANCET 2024 Exam Date: March 9; Registration Deadline Extended to February 12

The deadline for submitting an online application to the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2024) for admission to MBA and MCA programs offered by different universities and institutes around Tamil Nadu has been extended by Anna University, Tamil Nadu. Until February 12, interested applicants who haven’t applied yet may do so by registering at tancet.annauniv.edu, the Anna University website. It should be remembered that there will be two shifts for the aforementioned test on March 9.

The TANCET Master of Business Administration (MBA) test will take place from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, while the TANCET Master of Computer Application (MCA) exam will run from 10:00 AM to 12 PM.

The institution has also postponed the registration deadline for the Common Engineering Entrance Test and Admission (CEETA PG 2024) in addition to the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET 2024). The CEETA PG 2024 test is scheduled on March 10 from 10 AM to 12 PM, which is vital to know.

APPLYING FOR TANCET 2024: HERE’S HOW
Step 1: To apply for the MBA and MCA programs, candidates must go to the official TANCET website at tancet.annauniv.edu.

Step 2: Navigate to and click on the portal’s registration link.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form with the necessary information, including your name, email address, and contact details.

Step 4: Fill out the application and log in using your credentials.

Step 5: Complete the form with the required academic and personal information.

Step 6: Pay the required application fees and scan and submit the papers in the specified format.

Step 7: Save a copy of the confirmation page and double-check the information before submitting.

Step 8: Print out a copy of the application so you have it for later.

TANCET 2024: ADMISSION COST

For the TANCET MCA and TANCET MBA programmes, candidates who fall under one of the following categories must pay a registration fee of Rs 500: Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or Special Central Assistance (SCA) of Tamil Nadu. Applicants from other categories must pay Rs 1000.

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (2024) will take place in an offline format. Regarding the format of the test, there will be 100 questions total, with one mark assigned to each question. In addition, each erroneous answer will result in the deduction of one-third of a mark. It should be noted by applicants that the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test would last for two hours.
