Today, April 19, is Kamada Ekadashi fast day this year. According to the Hindu lunar calendar, it is the first Ekadashi after Chaitra Navratri. The forms of Dhruva, Vriddhi, and Ravi yogas are generated on the day of Kamada Ekadashi.
It is said that during Ravi Yoga, one should observe the Kamada Ekadashi fast. When worshiping Lord Vishnu, those who observe the Kamada Ekadashi fast are required to read the Kamada Ekadashi Vrat Katha. In the Brahma Muhurta, the morning must come before it.

The Kamada Ekadashi Vrat Katha
Yudhishthira once asked Lord Krishna to explain to him the Varaha Purana’s account of the grandeur of Chaitra Shukla Ekadashi. Lord Krishna informed him that Kamada Ekadashi is another name for Chaitra Shukla Ekadashi in response to his query. He told the Yudhishthira the narrative.
According to religious traditions, King Pundarika governed Ratnapura, where Lalit and Lalita formerly resided as a young couple. Lalita was a dancer in the royal court at the time, and Lalit was a well-known vocalist. Lalit once missed a few beats in his performance because he was focused on his wife, who wasn’t there at the court.
When he failed to give his lord his whole attention, King Pundarika became enraged with him. He cursed Lalit, making him a demon who would have to pay for his transgression. Lalit’s influence caused him to grow into a massive monster that measured 64 miles in height. He then began to suffer as he and his wife were lost in the wilderness. Lalita became depressed and visited Shringi Rishi’s ashram one day to confide in him about her issues.
She was urged by Rishi Shringi to fast on Kamada Ekadashi and offer your spouse Lalit the virtue of it. This will lift him from the demonic form and render the king’s curse null and void. Lalita followed the sage’s advice and fasted on Kamada Ekadashi, worshiping Lord Vishnu in accordance with the customs. Following the fast, Lord Vishnu released her spouse from the evil form and thanked Lalita for her devotion.
