2024 West Bengal Lok Sabha Election: Rajnath Singh Calls Mamata Banerjee a “Forgotten Meaning of Her Name” and Attacks Her
Rajnath Singh, the minister of defense, had a packed agenda on Sunday, speaking at many gatherings around West Bengal. Rajnath said that Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister, had “forgotten the meaning of her name” and that “lawlessness” was the norm in West Bengal.
“Even though West Bengal has a female chief minister, occurrences like Sandeshkhali still happen there. It’s unfortunate. We will make sure that similar incidents don’t happen again if the BJP wins power. Mamata didi is unable to perceive the screams of the state’s citizens and has lost all memory of the significance of her name. Since thugs are in charge here, people are terrified,” Rajnath said.
Notably, the federal agency is now in charge of mastermind Shahjahan Sheikh and his colleagues after reports of land grabs and sexual harassment of women were made against Trinamool Congress officials.
CBI agents interacted with the “victims” whose land was taken by Shahahjahan and his cronies on Sunday when they returned to Sandeshkhali. Taking jabs at the chief minister, Rajnath said Mamata has prevented the implementation of many central initiatives in West Bengal.
Regarding Modi’s affection for West Bengal, Rajnath said that on December 20, 2022, just after Modi’s mother was cremated, he launched the Vande Bharat trains for the region.
“The economy of our nation is the fifth biggest in the world. It will be in the top three positions by 2027,” he said.
