3-year-old killed by fire in the hamlet of Nalagarh

Around 11 p.m. yesterday, a fire broke out in the family’s house in Dhabota village, Nalagarh, killing the three-year-old kid and injuring his parents with burns.

Information indicates that the family had little time to flee as the fire swiftly spread from the refrigerator’s candle. The event occurred when their house’s electricity supply was cut off because their bills were unpaid.

Unharmed, other family members who were sleeping in a different room made an escape.

“The victim’s mother, Puja, has been hospitalized at a nearby hospital, while her father Satnam, has been transferred to PGI-Chandigarh. A villager said, “She had burn injuries on her face. He went on to say that the family was completely destroyed in the fire and asked for assistance.
