4 others detained for bringing in illicit firearms into the NCR

The Faridabad police’s crime section has apprehended a group in the NCR that is providing illicit firearms and busted an illegal arms factory in Meerut. Under the direction of DLF in-charge Sandeep Kumar, a team extracted ammunition and raw materials from the accused.

Four suspects have been taken into custody by the police: Sajid, Shabnam, her son Farman, and her son-in-law Tayyab. In Uttar Pradesh, Shabnam, Farman, and Sajid live in Meerut, while Tayyab resides in Muzaffarnagar.

Six suspects in this case have already been taken into custody by the police: Rahul, Kapil, Haider Ali, Mohammad Haider, Irshad, and Mukesh, also known as Mukka. Two handguns, two fake revolvers, two drill machines, one gun, two grinders, and a significant amount of supplies, dyes, and instruments for creating weapons have all been found by police among the suspects. Eleven illicit firearms, 66 rounds, seven magazines, a vehicle, and a motorbike had already been found on the suspects. It was discovered that the accused Sajid supplied the basic materials needed to manufacture prohibited weapons. Following the police remand period, the suspects appeared in court and were subsequently taken into custody.
