In Madhya Pradesh, a bus transporting SAF jawans collides with a vehicle, leaving three people dead and 26 injured

Early on Saturday, in Madhya Pradesh’s Seoni district, a bus carrying jawans from the Special Armed Forces (SAF) crashed after hitting a vehicle, resulting in three fatalities and twenty-six injuries, according to police.

According to an official, one of the jawans suffered critical injuries and has been sent to Nagpur in nearby Maharashtra.

The incident happened on the Seoni-Mandla State Highway, about 50 kilometers from the district headquarters, close to Dhanagadha hamlet, around one in the morning.

A vehicle with five people in it, including the driver, and a bus transporting state police officials from Mandla to Pandhurna (Chhindwara) crashed, according to Chain Singh Uikey, in-charge of the Keolari police station, who spoke to PTI.

He claimed that the car’s occupants, Kanhaiya Jaswani (75), Niklesh Jaswani (45), and driver Purushottam Mahobia (37), were all killed in the collision. The dead were Mandla locals.

The Keolari Government Hospital is treating two further injured automobile passengers.

According to the official, the people in the vehicle were on their way back from Nagpur after doing some work linked to the hospital there.

Following the incident, the bus transporting the SAF jawans capsized. 26 SAF soldiers were hurt in all, and they were sent to the hospital in Keolari.

He stated that an investigation was in progress and that one of them who had sustained critical injuries had been sent to Nagpur.
