According to BJP Leader Prakash Javadekar, CM KCR betrayed the people of Telangana over “water, funds, and jobs”

According to senior BJP figure Prakash Javadekar, Telangana’s Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has deceived the state’s residents by abandoning the statehood movement’s campaign slogans of securing employment, money, and water.

Former Union minister Javadekar said that during the Telangana statehood movement, the Chief Minister promoted the phrase “Neellu, Nidhulu, Niyamakalu” (water, finances, and jobs).

In reality, he said, it turned into “corruption, family rule, and betrayal of Telangana”.

The Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, according to Javadekar, only resulted in irrigation facilities being realized across one lakh acres as opposed to the 18 lakh acres promised.

According to him, the project’s costs increased significantly and the water that was promised was not delivered. He said that this is nothing but plunder.

When Telangana was created, it had a surplus of roughly Rs 360 crore, but the burden—which now totals more than Rs 5 lakh crore—includes government loans and credit guarantees. He said that this was nothing but treachery.

Teachers and academics are not being hired, while the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) recruitment exam question papers have been leaked, according to him. According to him, the promised unemployment benefit has not been given.

However, the top BJP official said that the Chief Minister’s family members had “political employment”.

Rao, on the other hand, took issue with Javadekar’s remarks that, as a result of the Kaleshwaram irrigation project, the irrigation facility has only been realized for one lakh acres as opposed to the 18 lakh acres that were promised.
