According to Cong’s D K Shivakumar, there is neither a BJP wave nor a Modi wave in the nation

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar said on Tuesday that there is “neither a BJP wave nor a Modi wave in the country,” expressing confidence that the INDIA bloc would form the government at the center.

After visiting a roadshow for UDF candidate Shashi Tharoor, Shivakumar, for Thiruvananthapuram, he was addressing to media at the Indira Bhavan.

He said that the BJP leadership and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are worried about suffering a defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. “The UDF emerged victorious with 19 Lok Sabha seats at a period of low morale for the UPA front. The Congress leadership has a soft spot for the UDF as a result. Keralans support the Congress because they are proud of the party’s heritage, democratic principles, and secular outlook, according to Shivakumar.

Additionally, he was curious about the impact that BJP candidate Rajeev Chandrasekhar had made in Thiruvananthapuram or Karnataka.
