After casting a ballot in the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, Nitin Gadkari said, “I am 100% sure I will win with a good margin.”

As voting in Maharashtra gets underway, Nitin Gadkari, the BJP’s candidate for the Nagpur seat in the Lok Sabha Elections of 2024, is optimistic. He conveyed confidence in a resounding win against his rival, Vikas Thakre, the incumbent Nagpur West MLA from the Congress.

Speaking to ANI, Gadkari emphasized the importance of voting and urged everyone to use their inalienable right to vote. He encouraged people to show up early at voting sites in spite of the heat.

Today is the celebration of democracy, as we celebrate it. Voting is a basic right and obligation for all people. Voting is vital, even if you cast a ballot for anybody. “I am confident that I will win by a significant margin,” Gadkari said to ANI.

Thinking back on past victories, Gadkari mentioned his significant vote share in the 2019 elections, when he beat Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole by a margin of 2,16,009 votes, earning 55.7% of the vote. According to the ANI report, a similar win over Congress leader Vilas Muttemwar was obtained in the 2014 elections.

“We are fervently commemorating the largest event in the nation. I would particularly urge people in Nagpur to come early and cast their ballots since it is a hot place. Our goal is to increase the voting percentage to 75% this time around, since it was just 54% the last time. He cast his ballot and said, “I will definitely win this election by a very big margin.”
