All prepared for April 17th, the heavenly wedding

The temple town of Bhadrachalam is all dressed up for Lord Rama and Sita Devi and Pattabhisekham’s heavenly wedding on April 17 and 18.

On behalf of the state government, Chief Secretary Shanthi Kumari and Principal Secretary for Endowments Sailajaramayyar will present the gods with pearl necklaces and pattuvastralu (holy garments). The Maidhila Stadium, the location of the activities, and the temple have been decked up with flowers and lights.

On April 17, the Midhila Stadium will host the Kalyanam ceremony from 10.30 am to 12:30 pm. On April 18, there will be the Maha Pattabhishekam. There are now more laddu counters in addition to dedicated counters for dispensing Muthayala talambralu.

Additionally, extra beds have been made available in the main government hospital and emergency care centers have been established on the property. The CS said that devotees would be able to purchase tickets for anywhere from Rs 100 to Rs 7,500. The space has been divided into 24 sections, each with appropriate barriers.

To guarantee a seamless process, special policemen have been chosen for each area, and live broadcasts of the Kalyanam will be carried on dedicated TVs.

Twenty-five information centers have been set up in and around Bhadrachalam, according to Collector Priyanka Ala, to help pilgrims and provide information on temples, travel, and lodging.

Pregnant ladies will have access to extra amenities. According to SP B Rohith Raju, robust security measures have been put in place to guarantee the smooth running of the celebrations, considering the area’s sensitivity to Maoist activity.

For April 16–17, Arjita Sevas is stopped in Vemulawada.

Rajanna-Sircilla: Arjita Sevas was postponed from April 16 (Tuesday) to April 17 (Wednesday) at the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulawada.
