Amit Shah said, “Telangana Elections: Congress And BRS Have A Deal To Make KCR CM And Rahul PM”

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister and a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said on Sunday that K Chandrasekhar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, and Rahul Gandhi, the Prime Minister of India, have an agreement between the Congress party and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Speaking at a gathering in Makhtal, Shah made a comparison between BRS and Congress, stating that the party’s MLAs would go to BRS if you voted for Congress to remove KCR, as K Chandrasekhar Rao is often known.

Telangana holds its last round of elections on November 30, marking the end of the month-long campaign. December 3rd will see the voting together with Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram. The outcomes of the assembly elections in the five states are anticipated to set the tone for the general election of 2024, which is scheduled to take place in April and May and in which the INDIA alliance hopes to unseat Prime Minister Narendra Modi with their combined numbers as he pursues a third term in office.

Shah said at the gathering that the formation of a BJP administration in the state led by Modi is the sole means of ousting KCR from office. In addition, he restated the party’s pledge to choose a chief minister from a backward caste should the party win state government. Additionally, he declared that the Madiga group in the state will get a Scheduled Caste (SC) quota from the BJP administration.

“BRS and the Congress party came to an agreement. Here, Rahul Gandhi will become prime minister and KCR will become chief minister thanks to the Congress. Shah told PTI that the Congress MLA “is like Chinese goods which do not have a guarantee and will go to BRS anytime.”

Shah compared the BRS to the Congress, yet the two parties are still pointing weapons at one another. On Sunday, the Congress asked the Election Commission (EC) to prevent BRS from bringing up the amount of money that was disbursed under the Rythu Bandhu program during the campaign. The Congress accused BRS leaders of using the Chief Election Commissioner’s (CEC) authority to distribute money under the plan as a “tool to influence” voters, as if they were providing it out of their own wallets, in a letter to CEC Rajiv Kumar.

The Telangana government received approval from the EC earlier on November 24 to distribute funds under the plan, which provides farmers with investment assistance, on November 28. The Congress party is preventing the payment, according to the BRS’s claims. This season, the program has almost 70 lakh beneficiaries.
