Anurag Thakur: CPM’s nuclear comment smacks of plot against India

Anurag Thakur, the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, said today that the CPM’s claim that India should give up its nuclear weapons smacked of a plot to undermine the nation at the request of other nations. He continued by saying that such a comment unmistakably pointed to a deadly plot that would demoralize the nation’s military forces and populace at a time when several nations were at war.

Anurag spoke at the BJP “Tridev” and Scheduled Caste Morcha gatherings in addition to conducting a campaign in the Una district’s Gagret Assembly constituency. In addition, he signaled the start of an election campaign bike rally. The Union Minister was welcomed with great enthusiasm by party members upon his arrival. Accompanying him were Jaswan-Pragpur MLA Bikram Singh, BJP candidate for the Gagret byelection Chaitanya Sharma, Una district BJP president Balbir Chaudhary, and former Gagret MLA Rajesh Thakur.

During the discussions, Anurag provided the party activists with helpful campaigning advice. He added that they were the foundation of the BJP and that their devotion to the party will be put to the test in the elections. He urged party members to spread the BJP’s policies and programs and the advancements brought about in every sector during the administration of Narendra Modi’s ten years in office. In addition, he discussed the welfare programs that the Central Government had started, especially for women and children and other marginalized and weaker groups in society.

In subsequent interviews with the media, Anurag said that the INDIA bloc’s leaders were conceited and dishonest. He continued by saying that although some of these leaders were in prison, others were out on bond.

He said that after the first round of voting, voters had exposed the INDIA bloc, and these political parties had realized they would also face a third round of rejection. The nation, he continued, had seen that the INDIA bloc was made up of parties that engaged in appeasement politics, made untrue claims, broke new ground in corruption, shouted pro-Pakistan slogans in the Karnataka Assembly, opposed the Ram Temple, and provided sanctuary to those responsible for bombing and raping women in West Bengal.

He said that the BJP will win 404 seats in the next Lok Sabha elections, despite propaganda from the opposition trying to dissuade voters, having won 282 seats in 2014, 303 seats in 2019, and so on.
