As a video of Congressman Rahul Gandhi conversing with a dejected man becomes viral, “Sudama Meeting Krishna”

Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, gives a vegetable seller, whose recent films have become the face of struggles brought on by increasing food costs, food with his own hands.

Rameshwar, a vegetable trader, was spotted crying as he described his suffering with the skyrocketing cost of goods.

A video of the event went viral on social media, with many highlighting how a significant portion of society is being negatively impacted by increased food costs.

Rameshwar stated, “I didn’t want to live anymore in this society,” while Gandhi listened to him carefully. His daughter was seated next to him.

“Don’t repeat it. Being honest and speaking from the heart are not signs of weakness. Don’t consider what other people may say. Gandhi responded, displaying a video of their encounter from last Monday. “You only adhere to the truth,” Gandhi said.

He was shown the tape of the “candid conversation” by the head of the Congress today.

“Rameshwar ji is the voice of an India whose sufferings, problems, and difficulties are distant from the mainstream discussion today. We all have a moral obligation to pay attention to that India’s voice and support its efforts to overcome these problems, he stated on X.

Some of their meeting’s touching moments were recorded on camera.

Gandhi served Rameshwar and his wife as they sat side by side.

Rameshwar said, “My wife is fasting today.”

Gandhi promptly asked if she may have some fruit and promised to fetch some for her.

Gandhi also objected to being called “sir”.

“Sir, why do you keep phoning me? Call me Rahul; that is my name, he instructed Rameshwar.

Rameshwar likened the encounter to “Sudama meeting Krishna” before it took place, expressing his gratitude for the chance.

The mythology states that Sudama and Krishna were childhood friends who grew up together, and their touching reunion is seen as an illustration of real friendship.
