At Mahoba, Uttar Pradesh, a mob attacks a police officer clearing a road blockade

When ordered to disperse a road jam, police sub-inspector Ram Avtar and his squad encountered a difficult scenario in an unpleasant occurrence that took place in the Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh. According to media accounts, the 13-year-old child died in a bus accident in the Panwari region of Mahoba, and this led to the formation of the roadblock as a form of protest.

Due to the profound impact of the little child’s death, the community decided to organize a demonstration in which they demanded that the youngster get justice and that the family receive recompense. Sub-Inspector Ram Avtar and his group were sent to remove the obstacle as a result. But then things became violent when they came upon a group of people brandishing sticks.

Unfortunately, three cops made the decision to leave the scene, leaving Ram Avtar to deal with the angry audience by himself. The Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) were summoned to the site due to the serious situation that needed to be addressed right away. They made sure Ram Avtar got medical care at a local hospital and helped diffuse the situation.

Five of the attackers were taken into custody by the police after this distressing occurrence. But when the accused were being driven to the police station in a van, two of them made an effort to escape. They even succeeded in stealing a service weapon from an officer during their escape attempt, which resulted in a short but fierce standoff. Luckily, the police managed to overwhelm the attackers, inflicting injuries on the accused pair, Parashurama and Monu. Furthermore, throughout the procedure, a sub-inspector and two constables suffered minor injuries.
