Avinash Reddy and the CBI get notifications from Telangana HC

In response to a plea submitted by Shaik Dastagiri, an accused who later became an approver in the murder case of YS Vivekananda Reddy, the Telangana High Court sent letters to the CBI and MP YS Avinash Reddy on Friday. In the petition, the court was asked to revoke Avinash’s anticipatory bail in this matter.

In his appeal, Dastagiri drew attention to a number of recent incidents, including an assault on his father that he said Avinash Reddy was responsible for. He maintained that these acts constituted evidence tampering and thereby obstructed the prosecution’s case in the murder case.

In addition, he expressed concerns over an alleged visit to the prison by Devireddy Chaitanya Reddy, a physician who went there pretending to be running a medical camp when Dastagiri was detained in a different case. Devireddy Siva Sankar Reddy, another accused, is the father of Chaitanya. Dastagiri said that Chaitanya was trying to sway him away from the CBI by offering him financial incentives.
