Biweekly express train Una-Indore was abandoned

Today, the local railway station hosted the official launch of the Una to Indore express train, which was lit off by Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur. The train service, which ran every two weeks between Indore and Chandigarh, would now travel a longer path between Chandigarh and Una.

On Fridays and Saturdays at 1.50 pm, the train (number 19,308) would depart from Una and arrive in Indore at 3.05 pm the next day. The train (number 19,307) would leave Indore on Thursdays and Fridays at 5.30 am and arrive in Una at 8.35 am on the following day.

Anurag said that in addition to Mathura and Vrindavan, the people of Himachal Pradesh will now have direct, pleasant, and reasonably priced access to sacred locations like the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain.

He stated that the final broad gauge station in Himachal Pradesh on the Delhi-Talwara railway line, Daulatpur Chowk, was set to get Rs 47 crore in funding from the Union Government.

Anurag spoke at a public forum earlier on the topic of “Drug free youth and safety on roads” at Dohgi village during the Kutlehar Assembly segment. He urged the young people to abstain from drugs and drive carefully while wearing helmets.
