BJP Chief Nadda chairs a meeting of the Uttarakhand unit’s core group while praising CM Dhami

On Sunday, J P Nadda, the national president of the BJP, presided over the core group meeting of the party’s affiliate in Uttarakhand. He commended Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami for a number of choices his administration made that were in the best interests of the general population.

Nadda visited the state for a single day to attend the conference. In Haridwar, he also took part in the Shantikunj conference. Mahendra Bhatt, the president of the Uttarakhand BJP, expressed optimism that the party would win a “hat-trick” by winning all five seats in the state in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections after the core group meeting, which was presided over by Nadda.

The goal is to win all five Lok Sabha seats, he continued, “so that Modiji’s government is formed at the Center once more.” The BJP’s preparations for the impending municipal and municipal corporation elections in Uttarakhand as well as the Lok Sabha elections in 2014 were discussed during the meeting, according to Bhatt.

He continued by saying that Nadda also asked the chief minister about the flood situation in Uttarakhand and advised the party organization to be involved in relief efforts. The core group meeting was attended by the BJP’s in-charge for Uttarakhand, Dushyant Gautam, as well as the co-in-charge, Rekha Verma, the Lok Sabha MP from Haridwar and a former Union minister named Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the former chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, Vijay Bahuguna, and other top politicians.

Nadda has promoted environmental conservation by planting seedlings in Haridwar as part of his party’s “Meri Maati, Mera Desh” campaign. At the ceremony held at Amrit Vatika of the Rishikul Ayurveda College, Dhami also participated. Both politicians also presented Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, a revered figure in Hindutva, with flower tributes. In the late afternoon, Nadda arrived to Har ki Pauri in Haridwar and said prayers.
