BJP MLA: Congressmen extorting money in the name of Danasari Anasuya
Kagaznagar, Sirpur In an open letter to Panchayat Raj Minister Danasari Anasuya, also known as Seethaka, on Thursday, BJP MLA P Harish demanded action against Congress politicians he said were receiving funds in Kumurambheem Asifabad district on her behalf.
Giving details of his open letter to reporters here, Harish said that a gang of Congress politicians were threatening real estate investors and demanding large sums of money using the district in-charge minister Seethakka’s name.
A female physician in Kagaznagar town received threats to provide the Congress ~10 lakh under the guise of Lok Sabha elections. The BJP MLA said that the extortionists claimed that Seethakka had a portion of the money.
According to Harish, the doctor, along with other businessmen and others, came to him with complaints over the purported extortion scheme. He said that the extortion scheme involves former MLA Konneru Konappa and Congress constituency head R Srinivas.
