Bloody Golgappa: Chaat Seller in Noida Sec 49 Stabs Man When Asked to Wait in Line for Turn

On Saturday night in Sector 49 of Noida, Uttar Pradesh, a golgappa vendor was stabbed in the abdomen after asking a client to wait in line for dishes.

The 30-year-old vendor Ravindra Kumar, who is from Badaun, is presently receiving care at a nearby hospital. According to a Times of India story, Kumar, who resides in the Baraula hamlet of Sector 49, operates a golgappa and chaat booth at a market next to his rental home.

Around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, a large crowd of clients gathered at Kumar’s tall, according to Sector 49 police station SHO Sandeep Chaudhary. However, a local guy named Vikas Sharma abruptly entered the line and requested service before his time.

Ravindra rejected, citing the lengthy queue of clients. The SHO said that Vikas became enraged and threw a barrage of insults at him. Kumar reportedly objected to Sharma and requested him to stop insulting him, particularly in front of other customers. The SHO said, “After a heated dispute, the accused pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed Kumar many times in the abdomen.

After Kumar was knocked to the ground by the suspect, the other market merchants hurried the golgappa vendor to the hospital.

According to the doctors, Kumar is not in danger and is benefiting from the treatment, Chaudhury claimed.

An FIR was lodged against Vikas at the Sector 49 police station under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) Sections 323 (voluntarily causing harm) and 324 (voluntarily causing hurt with a hazardous weapon) as a result of a police complaint made by Ravindra Kumar’s brother Harendra. “We’re looking for the suspect. We anticipate detaining him shortly,” the SHO said.

RECENT STABBING CASES

On October 13, only two days earlier, Delhi saw two distinct stabbing attacks.

According to police, a dispute between two acquaintances led to the stabbing murder of a 19-year-old male in the Narela neighborhood of outer-north Delhi.

According to them, the incident took place on the night of October 12 and 13 when victim Gulshan was assaulted by three of his companions with a knife and other sharp objects as he was making his way home.

Men are seen assaulting Gulshan in what is allegedly CCTV video from the event that has leaked on social media. Multiple injuries were sustained by the victim, who was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead, according to the police.

A police officer said that the dispute’s origins could not yet be determined. The official stated that Gulshan and his buddies had gotten into a fight while eating momos from a street vendor.

Teams have been created to find the suspect and a murder case has been filed, the official added.

Another instance occurred on October 13 in the Lado Sarai neighborhood of south Delhi, when a 23-year-old lady was reportedly repeatedly stabbed by her ex-boyfriend. The accused man, 27, was apprehended right away.

The lady had roughly 13 stab wounds to her face, fingers, and thighs, but medics claimed she was not in any immediate danger and was receiving care.

The victim and the accused had been dating for the previous two years, but suddenly the victim had begun to ignore him. On October 13, while the lady was going for work, the accused went to her home early because she seemed ignorant and made an effort to communicate with her.

However, the accused joined her in the taxi she had reserved for the trip to work and started shouting as soon as she refused to speak to him. The perpetrator pulled a knife from his jeans pocket during the heated exchange and repeatedly stabbed the victim.

The culprit, named as Gaurav Pal, a native of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh who works for a private firm in Gurugram in Haryana, was also detained, the police official said. The complaint was lodged under section 307 (attempt to kill) of the IPC.
