BrahMos’ first shipment to the Philippines is scheduled for today

Tomorrow, India will start exporting BrahMos missiles for the first time ever. Delivery of the first batch of BrahMos missiles and launchers is scheduled for the Philippines.

Along with a civilian freight ship, two Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft will depart for the Philippines, which placed a $374.96 million purchase order for missiles from India in January 2022. The BrahMos missile system consists of many subsystems, including as command and control centers, trucks, launchers, and loaders.

The 290-kilometer anti-ship missiles that are being sent to the Philippines are the shore-based version.
