Claims made by Annamalai against DMK and AIADMK: “Spent Rs 1,000 crore in Coimbatore”

The leader of the Tamil Nadu BJP and the party’s candidate for the Coimbatore seat, K Annamalai, said that the era of Dravidian politics was over and accused the AIADMK and DMK, who are in power, of using Rs. 1,000 crore in Coimbatore to sway voters. After voting on Friday at the Uthupatti polling place in Karur village, Annamalai said this:.

The former IPS officer turned politician expressed confidence in a “historic result” for the NDA on June 4 and predicted a rise in the BJP’s vote share in Tamil Nadu.

The BJP has maintained its prominence in the state because of Annamalai’s ferocious campaign speeches. She said, “The people of Tamil Nadu are with PM Modi.” This time around in Karnataka, a clean sweep is what we anticipate. In Telangana, the BJP will be the leading party. This time, Tamil Nadu will provide a very significant outcome: a rise in the vote share. The era of Dravidian politics has over.

Annamalai is up against AIADMK’s Singai Ramachandran and DMK’s Ganapathy P Rajkumar in Coimbatore. In Tamil Nadu, the first round of voting involves all 39 seats.

After casting his ballot, the BJP leader accused the governing DMK and AIADMK of using over Rs 1,000 crore in Coimbatore to sway voters in an interview with media.

The actions of the DMK and AIADMK in Coimbatore are being observed by everybody. In Coimbatore, almost Rs 1,000 crore have been invested. Annamalai said, “I am running in this election as a matter of principle, so if they can get one voter in front of the media to say that some BJP person is trying to influence them, I will leave politics the same day,” according to ANI.

Since Tamil Nadu has been at the center of the BJP’s southern campaign to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “400 paar” ambition, the state elections will be widely monitored.
