Congress Charges BJP-Led Organization With Swindling J&K’s Jal Jeevan Mission of $13,000,000,000

A shocking Rs 13,000 crore scandal inside the Jal Jeevan Mission in Jammu and Kashmir is the subject of a recent assault by the Congress on the BJP-led Central government. The party also brought up allegations that Ashok Kumar Parmar, a Dalit IAS officer who bravely revealed the corruption, was victimized while those responsible for the misconduct were protected.

At a news conference conducted at the party’s headquarters, Pawan Khera, the chairman of the media and publicity division and a member of the Congress Working Committee (CWC), blasted the administration for using “event management” to draw attention away from important concerns. He cited the fact that a Jammu and Kashmir complaint that implicated Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha in the enormous Rs 13,000 crore Jal Jeevan Mission fraud surfaced during the G20 Summit in Delhi, according to ANI.

Khera noted that despite expressing his concerns to the SC/ST Commission and the Ministry of Home, whistleblower Ashok Kumar Parmar’s complaints went unanswered. He also charged that top figures in the Modi administration, including Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Minister for Jal Shakti, and Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, promoted the corrupt officials at the center of Parmar’s accusations while demoting Parmar himself from Principal Secretary of the Jal Shakti Department to the ARI and Trainings Department. Khera emphasized that Parmar should have been qualified for the job of Financial Commissioner due to his lengthy 30-year career.

Khera emphasized the disparity in treatment by pointing out that Parmar had been moved four times while the cops involved in the scheme seemed to be receiving preferential treatment.

Khera also brought up another incident involving Satyapal Malik, the former governor of Jammu and Kashmir. Malik was accused of engaging in financial transactions with Sanjay Rai Sherpuria, a contentious figure in the BJP-RSS ecosystem, and Manoj Sinha, the current lieutenant governor, during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Khera questioned the Prime Minister and the administration as he concluded his speech, requesting information about the alleged intimidation of a Dalit IAS officer who disclosed a massive Rs 13,000 crore fraud. He wanted to know why cops who had been charged with theft and financial malfeasance were promoted and if they had followed directives from superiors. In addition, Khera expressed alarm about the lack of a CBI investigation despite complaints being made to the Union Home Ministry, expressing worries about the government’s protection of those involved in the alleged Rs 13,000 crore corruption.
