Days spent inside bars bolstered my resolve and struggle: Sanjay

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to a video posted by senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh, “has further strengthened my struggle and determination by sending me to jail.”

The AAP representative said that the BJP and PM Modi’s plot to imprison the party’s key leaders in order to undermine their morale had failed.

Rather than giving up, they have become more courageous in their resistance against despotism. They are now putting more effort and power into this struggle,” he said.

After being granted bail earlier this month by the Supreme Court in the Delhi excise policy case, Sanjay Singh was imprisoned for six months.

He said that I would not have known who I was or realized that we were on the correct track if the PM had not given me this chance. “I’ve come out of penance to prepare the pathways ahead and further improve those roads after serving a six-month prison sentence. I was doing exactly the correct thing. “I’ll keep going with more strength down the same path,” he said.

Among the numerous revolutionaries Singh read in the previous six months, he said, were Nelson Mandela, Bhagat Singh, Ashfaqulla, Roshan Singh, Rajendra Lahiri, and Ram Prasad Bismil.

We were on the correct track, I realized after reading about Mahatma Gandhi. The RS MP said, “I wouldn’t have been able to think whether my path of struggle was right or wrong if this six-month jail journey hadn’t happened.”
