Delhi Government School Teacher Booked For Making Communal Remarks in Class: “Why Didn’t You To Go Pakistan”

A teacher in Gandhi Nagar, east Delhi, has been charged with uttering offensive statements towards a group of people in a classroom. According to four children, the instructor allegedly questioned them about why their family did not go to Pakistan during Partition. The incident happened soon after anger over a horrifying video that showed classmates slapping a Muslim kid in front of their instructor.

A parent of a youngster who attends the school urged that the instructor be dismissed and that she get appropriate punishment. “instructors should be reminded to merely teach and not remark on matters about which they have no understanding,” she told reporters. “If the teacher goes unpunished, other instructors will become encouraged and they will utter things like “hamare deen ke nahi hain.”

Anil Kumar Bajpai, a Gandhi Nagar MLA, responded to the situation by stating that a teacher’s duty is to provide students with a quality education. “This is completely incorrect. A teacher should never disparage any temple, shrine, or other sacred site. Such individuals ought to be detained, he added.

The instructor, according to a report by NDTV, insulted the Quran and the Kaaba, a revered edifice built of stone in Mecca. “You did not go to Pakistan during Partition. You remained in India. The instructor is described in the complaint as adding, “You have made no contribution to the liberation of India.

A video of teacher Tripta Tyagi from Neha Public School ordering her pupils to hit a Muslim child and making offensive comments against the community emerged after a similar incident in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Police have made a booking for the instructor, but no arrest has been made as of yet.
