Due to the G20 Summit, the Haryana PGT Recruitment Exam 2023 has been postponed

According to a report by Times Of India, candidates studying for the next postgraduate teacher (PGT) recruitment test on September 9 and 10 have requested that the Haryana Public Service Commission rearrange the exam dates. Due to the G20 meeting slated from September 8 to 10, they are apprehensive about the limitations that would be implemented in the National Capital Region (NCR), especially in Delhi.

According to reports from the TOI, many applicants for the PGT test have already submitted their applications. These applicants come from a variety of locations within the NCR, including Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, and Noida, as well as cities like Rewari and Bahadurgarh. They expect major challenges getting to their different testing locations during the G20 conference.

Traffic control measures will be in effect in Delhi for the G20 summit from 5 a.m. on September 8 till 11:59 p.m. on September 10. During this period, the whole area encircled by the Ring Road (Mahatma Gandhi Marg) would be referred to as a “regulated zone”. Within the New Delhi district, only locals with valid identity, authorized cars, and emergency vehicles would be allowed to go around. However, the remainder of the NCR will continue to permit passenger automobiles.

The weekend’s full dress rehearsal by the Delhi Police may have an impact on traffic. On Saturday and Sunday, commuters are encouraged to utilize the metro service. The rehearsal will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., and 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday. During these rehearsals, traffic will be restricted at various locations such as Sardar Patel Marg-Panchsheel Marg, Sardar Patel Marg-Kautilya Marg, Gol Methi roundabout, Mansingh Road roundabout, C-Hexagon, Mathura Road, Zakir Hussain Marg-Subramaniam Bharti Marg, Bhairon Marg-Ring Road, Satya Marg/Shantipath roundabout, Janpath-Kartavyapath, Barakhamba Road red light, Tolstoy Marg, and Vivekanand Marg, among others, reported India.com.

The practice times on Sunday are from 8 to 9 in the morning, 9:30 to 10:30, and 12:30 to 4 in the afternoon. According to the advisory, traffic will be controlled at the following locations: Brig Hoshiyar Singh Marg, Tolstoy Marg, Rajghat Chowk, Shanti Van Chowk, Saleem Garh Bypass, Bhairon Road, Ring Road, Mathura Road, Shershah Road, C-Hexagon, roundabouts at Mansingh Road, Gol Methi, Teen Murti, and Yashwant Place.

It’s important to remember that the HPSC had already extended the dates for the PGT recruitment test’s second phase, which was originally planned for September 24 but was rescheduled by the Commission because it conflicted with the UPSC exam. The Civil Services (Main) test will be administered by the Union Public Service Commission on September 15, 16, 17, 23, and 24.
