EX-CM Manohar Lal Khattar begins political campaign from Panipat for the 2024 Indian elections

Manohar Lal Khattar, the BJP candidate and former chief minister from the Karnal Lok Sabha constituency, launched his campaign today from the Panipat district’s Panipat City Assembly seat.

Speaking to a crowd at Sanoli Road’s Ganga Garden, Khattar predicted that the BJP would win all ten of the state’s seats. The previous chief minister gave the party members hope by declaring that Karnal would be ranked first in the nation this time.

However, Khattar said, “All of this is only possible because of the party workers’ tireless efforts.” He said that during an election, party employees showed more zeal than the party candidate. According to Khattar, “a worker works not only for a family; he works for the nation, considering the state and entire nation as their family.”

He also exhorted party activists to begin campaigning in their districts, remembering Fateh Chand Vij, the father of MLA Pramod Vij, who was a five-time MLA. The former CM said, “Because a worker can only bring a big win to the candidate.”

According to Khattar, the 2.85 crore people who live in the state are his family, and all employees have a duty to vote for the BJP as many times as possible with complete faith and devotion in order to restore democracy.

The party workers were addressed by Karnal Lok Sabha convener and MLA Harvinder Kalyan, BJP district president Dushyant Bhatt, Panipat City MLA Pramod Vij, and Rajya Sabha MP Krishan Lal Panwar.

Oppn parties have not yet announced their nominees.

Karnal: Manohar Lal Khattar, the BJP’s candidate and a former chief minister, has stepped up his campaign even though the opposition parties haven’t yet revealed the identities of their nominees. Following his Thursday meeting with party workers from the Karnal Assembly segment, Khattar called two further meetings on Friday in Indri and Nilokheri, urging them to secure his victory. He became emotional as he highlighted the contributions made by the workers, saying, “I cannot forget the contribution of party workers, who gave me a lot.” He instructed them to make contact with individuals in order to draw attention to the state and federal governments’ assistance programs. According to him, the PM set a goal of “surpassing 400” seats.
