Extremely critical matter that has to be handled seriously: The governor of West Bengal attacked the NIA team

West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose stated on Saturday that the assault on NIA officials is a “very serious issue” and that it should be handled with “all the seriousness that it deserves.”

A similar “attempt to bully the investigating agencies does not bring credit to anyone down the line,” he said, adding that the situation requires strict handling.

“This is a grave matter that requires the utmost seriousness to be addressed. We shouldn’t tolerate “goondaism” of this type. Legal authority shouldn’t be replaced by physical force. At the Raj Bhavan, Bose told PTI, “This has to be dealt with with an iron hand.”

On Saturday, as NIA officers were investigating a bomb explosion case in the Purba Medinipur district’s Bhupatinagar, they were ambushed by locals in a vehicle.
