Fear and anxiety-filled atmosphere in the state: Kateel
Mangaluru Former BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel, a Dakshina Kannada MP, said that since the Congress government headed by chief minister Siddaramaiah took office, the state is experiencing a condition of dread and worry.

“No money for development”
Kateel said that the state would fall bankrupt completely in a year as a result of the pledges made by the Siddaramaiah government. “The government lacks funding for development projects. I urge the Chief Minister to disclose the amount of funds awarded to MLAs throughout the last 12 months. According to him, the Congress government does not even provide MLAs with funding for local area development. He said that the five assurances are also not being carried out correctly and charged that the state government is pressuring contractors to pay an 80% fee.Attacking the Congress, he said that no previous elected Congress MP had improved the Dakshina Kannada area except Srinivas Mallya.
