Five were found in possession of illicit weapons

According to an officer today, five people have been apprehended by the police for unlawful gun possession in three different occurrences.

A.32 bore single barrel pistol with two live rounds was used by Division D police to apprehend Manav alias Prem of Gilwali Gate and Dimanshu of Ranjit Vihar of Loharaka Road. Meanwhile, a.32 bore pistol with two bullets was used by Civil Lines police to apprehend Kanish Kundra of Yaseen Road and Harpreet Singh, aka Nihala, of Kishal Kot.

According to Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, Kundra purchased the item from Harpreet Singh, who was also detained in connection with the crime, during his questioning. Harmanpreet Singh, who lived close to Gaggarbhana hamlet, was apprehended by the Beas police, who also took a.32 caliber handgun from him.
