For admissions, Delhi University adopts CUET UG 2023 and streamlines the application process

As one of the best institutions in India, Delhi University (DU) continues to draw students from all over the world. Numerous students pursue admission to this prestigious college every year, making the admissions process very tough. The south campus and the north campus are the two separate halves of the university’s campus, and each has its own distinguishing features.

Both campuses maintain a comparable academic quality, but the north campus distinguishes out for its robust extracurriculars and a wide range of nearby colleges. The south campus, on the other hand, provides a somewhat simpler admissions procedure with lower cut-off standards. Many students have obtained admittance on the south campus as a result of this ease. It’s important to note, however, that the north campus has hostels, giving students a residential advantage that the south campus does not. Both campuses are top-notch in terms of academics and extracurricular activities, giving students a well-rounded educational experience.

Numerous elite colleges of Delhi University contribute greatly to the university’s prestige. Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College, Lady Shri Ram College, Sri Venkateswara College, Gargi College, and Kamala Nehru College are a few of the illustrious universities. These schools are renowned for their outstanding academic programs and wide variety of extracurricular activities that support students’ overall growth.

The University of Delhi has announced a substantial modification to its undergraduate admissions procedure. It is now necessary for applicants seeking admission to DU institutions to take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2023). The institution decided to use the CUET results for undergraduate admissions last year.

In the past, Delhi University had separate entrance tests for admission to both undergraduate and graduate programs. But now that the new strategy has been implemented, the institution is relying on CUET UG results, which are closely watched by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This action simplifies the application procedure, improving its effectiveness and accessibility for prospective students.

In addition, the institution has opted to utilize the CUET UG 2023 scores for admissions to the prestigious College of Art’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. Aspiring artists now have more opportunities to express their ability via CUET thanks to this addition.
